Contemplating Life; Downfall

Downfall

Silence speaks in volumes, lies upon the tongue. A head full of amnesia, a heart that doesn't belong. There is crushed bone against your fingers, lace against your skin, a wide intrepid adventure just waiting to begin. Though your soul lays broken, far beyond repair, you reach for the night sky, lengthened fingers unaware. There's a storm inside her, a hurricane of sorts, it's terribly dark and stormy, a look into her thoughts. You try and try to understand, a million roses do tell, but have you ever thought, that you don't particularly know her that well?

She's indecipherable and indecisive, a mess of poetry and prose, you think of nothing, but getting lost within her throes. A thousand moonless nights you dream and hope and pray, but her dark being, her damned soul doesn't give you the light of day. You persevere and you push on, the dream within your sight, but are you certain you're prepared to fall from such a great height? Though high she may climb, to reach The unattainable, it's the downfall that she finds most unbearable. Take a deep breath darling, it's deep down there, take my hand and jump if you dare.
